Prepare yourself for an amazing expedition through snow, glaciers, rivers, mountains, black sandy beaches and the winter darkness in a Super Truck.

Itinerary

Day 1 / Friday - Arrival
Afternoon arrival in Iceland. Guests are on their own and take the non-guided scheduled tour bus to the unique Blue Lagoon for a visit. Those who are interested, can enjoy a pleasant swim in the warm waters (fee paid on the spot). Onwards to Reykjavík City for an overnight stay.

Day 2 / Saturday - Towards the unknown
In the morning you will meet the driver-guide. The day's itinerary will be introduced, the GPS prepared and then the group is ready to depart. The focus is on experiencing the nature, to be an explorer as well as a traveller.

The expedition leader will either take you to Reykjanes peninsula, boasting moon like landscapes, dented coastline, lava fields, volcanoes and craters or to the south coast of Iceland and its black sand beaches, glaciers, waterfalls and mossy lava fields. The day ends at the charming country-hotel Hekla where a 3 course dinner will be served. The rural surroundings of the hotel provide ideal conditions, on a clear night, to observe the Northern Lights, from the hot tubs just beside the hotel.

Day 3 / Sunday - Nature classics
Briefing before starting today's expedition. Visit Gullfoss waterfall, one of the most impressive in Iceland and the highly active Geysir geothermal area. Then head towards Lake Þingvellir and the National Park. If time allows, we will enjoy some mountain adventure, crossing rivers and snow fields. Return to Reykjavik in the after-noon for an overnight stay.

Day 4 / Monday - Departure

NOTE: This is an expedition, so the program is for guideline only. This is in the best interest of the group and all participants. The program might be adjusted without any notice according to weather and road conditions for everyone's security.
